GLOBAL TIME ATTACK
November 13–14, 2027 | Buttonwillow Raceway Park
The Global Time Attack season comes down to one final weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway Park.
GTA Finals brings the time attack community back to one of the most important circuits in American time attack history for two days of flat-out competition, personal bests, class battles and record attempts.
From street-based builds to some of the fastest and most advanced time attack cars in the country, drivers will have one last opportunity to put everything together and find the lap they’ve been chasing all season.
TWO DAYS OF GTA COMPETITION
GTA will feature three dedicated time attack run groups with a maximum field of 60 competitors.
Each GTA run group is scheduled for:
4 × 15-minute sessions Saturday
4 × 15-minute sessions Sunday
That’s 8 competition sessions and up to two hours of track time per driver over the weekend.
With only 20 cars maximum per GTA run group, the format is designed to give competitors the space and opportunity they need to find a clear lap and go fast.
GTA + SCCA TIME ATTACK
SCCA Time Attack returns for 2027, bringing another field of competitors and even more time attack action to Buttonwillow.
The event is also open to spectators, giving fans the opportunity to experience GTA Finals in person, walk the paddock, see the cars up close and watch some of the fastest time attack machines in the country battle the clock.

There are no heats. No wheel-to-wheel race to the finish.

Whether you’re fighting for a GTA class win, chasing a Buttonwillow record, or looking to finish the season with a new personal best, GTA Finals is where you get one last chance to put down the lap.

Global Time Attack is proud to welcome LVRY as a partner for the 2026 season.
LVRY is a track-born motorsport brand built by racers, focused on designing racewear, technical essentials, and travel systems for the realities of modern racing. The brand was created to support the drivers, crews, and enthusiasts who spend their weekends at the track.
Through this partnership, Global Time Attack competitors will also have access to DRVR CLUB, LVRY’s participation-based rewards program designed to give drivers credit for showing up and competing.
DRVR CLUB was built around a simple idea: racing is about more than podiums. It’s about the drivers who invest their time, energy, and resources to be part of the sport week after week. Instead of rewarding only the winners, DRVR CLUB rewards participation.
The program is simple: 1 point = $1 toward LVRY gear.
Drivers earn points by competing throughout the season, which can then be redeemed toward LVRY products including racewear, technical gear, and travel equipment.
DRVR CLUB is free to join and open to racers across multiple levels of motorsport.

Fast Fords by MMR
MMR and Global Time Attack introduce the Fast Fords presented by MMR award at every GTA event.
The concept is simple and intentionally competitive.
At each event, GTA will recognize:
- 1st Place – Fastest Ford
- 2nd Place – Fastest Ford
- 3rd Place – Fastest Ford
Results will be determined by overall lap time, regardless of class. If you’re driving a Ford, particularly a Mustang, you’re competing directly against every other Ford in the paddock.
Fast Fords awards will be:
- Presented on-site during the official GTA awards ceremony
- Published in official event results online
- Highlighted through Global Time Attack and MMR social media coverage
This creates a parallel competition within the main GTA structure one that rewards outright performance and puts Ford drivers directly in the spotlight.

Fresh rubber is one of the biggest expenses for global time attack drivers. To support your program this season, SimpleTire has officially launched a Brand Ambassador Program, and is looking for GTA drivers to join.
This tiered program is designed to help grassroots and pro drivers get to the podium with serious perks:
