Global Time Attack returns to the Pacific Northwest for one of the most unique and scenic events of the 2026 season—Speed Summit at The Ridge Motorsports Park.
Set against the backdrop of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, this two-day motorsports festival brings together time attack, drifting, and grassroots track culture into one high-energy weekend.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Global Time Attack Competition
Drivers from across the country will take on The Ridge in a battle against the clock. With relaxed rules and unlimited performance potential, GTA showcases some of the fastest and most innovative time attack cars in North America. Driver Registration KERBZ
SCCA Time Attack
A perfect entry point for drivers looking to push their limits on track. SCCA competitors will share the weekend and the challenge of mastering one of the most technical circuits in the region.
Lone Star Drift
Expect nonstop action as Lone Star Drift delivers tandem battles, high-speed entries, and full-course drifting throughout the weekend.
THE TRACK
The Ridge Motorsports Park is widely considered one of the most exciting road courses in the United States. Featuring elevation changes, technical sections, and high-speed sweepers, it rewards precision, bravery, and commitment.
Located in Shelton, Washington—just outside Olympia—the track is surrounded by forests, mountains, and water, making it one of the most visually stunning stops on the GTA calendar.
CAMPING & PADDOCK LIFE
Drivers and teams are welcome to camp at the track, creating a full weekend experience. The paddock comes alive after hours with BBQs, late-night wrenching, and a true grassroots motorsports atmosphere.

SDC vs NorCal
Global Time Attack Announces “SDC vs NorCal” Time Attack Battle for 2026 Season
Southern California vs Northern California. Two tracks. Two classes. Two winners.
Global Time Attack is proud to announce the SDC vs NorCal Time Attack Battle, a new regional rivalry set to take place across two major events during the 2026 season.
The challenge has been issued by SoCal Drivers Club (SDC), sending a team of Southern California time attack drivers to go head-to-head against Northern California teams including Turn8 Racing, Lightspeed, and SpeedSF.
The two-round battle will take place at two of California’s most iconic circuits:
Round 1
May 30–31, 2026
Thunderhill Raceway Park
East 3 Mile Bypass Circuit
Round 2
November 14–15, 2026
Global Time Attack Finals
Buttonwillow Raceway Park
CW13 Circuit
The competition will take place in Street Class and Limited Class, two of the most competitive categories in time attack.
Drivers will earn points based on their finishing positions at each round, with points awarded to the top 10 finishers in each class.

1st Place – 10 Points (+1 bonus point)
2nd Place – 9 Points
3rd Place – 8 Points
4th Place – 7 Points
5th Place – 6 Points
6th Place – 5 Points

At the conclusion of the GTA Finals at Buttonwillow, the top scoring driver in each class will be crowned the SDC vs NorCal Champion and awarded the official rivalry trophy.
This rivalry challenge is separate from the Global Time Attack season championship and is exclusively open to participating SDC and NorCal drivers.
The SDC vs NorCal battle brings regional pride, bragging rights, and a new layer of competition to the 2026 season as drivers from both regions go head-to-head on two legendary California circuits.
Southern California is coming north first.
Now it’s NorCal’s move.
The battle begins at Thunderhill Raceway Park this May.
Fast Fords Presented by MMR
MMR and Global Time Attack introduce the Fast Fords presented by MMR award at every GTA event.
The concept is simple and intentionally competitive.
At each event, GTA will recognize:
- 1st Place – Fastest Ford
- 2nd Place – Fastest Ford
- 3rd Place – Fastest Ford
Results will be determined by overall lap time, regardless of class. If you’re driving a Ford, particularly a Mustang, you’re competing directly against every other Ford in the paddock.
Fast Fords awards will be:
- Presented on-site during the official GTA awards ceremony
- Published in official event results online
- Highlighted through Global Time Attack and MMR social media coverage
This creates a parallel competition within the main GTA structure one that rewards outright performance and puts Ford drivers directly in the spotlight.
