Global Time Attack is proud to welcome MMR (Modular Motorsports Racing) as an official series sponsor for the 2026 season, while also announcing the launch of a new competitive initiative: Fast Fords, presented by MMR.
The program is designed to spotlight Ford powered competitors across the GTA field, giving Mustang and Ford owners a clear target, added motivation, and meaningful recognition regardless of class.
Fast Fords, Presented by MMR
As part of the 2026 partnership, MMR and Global Time Attack will introduce the Fast Fords presented by MMR award at every GTA event.
The concept is simple and intentionally competitive.
At each event, GTA will recognize:
- 1st Place – Fastest Ford
- 2nd Place – Fastest Ford
- 3rd Place – Fastest Ford
Results will be determined by overall lap time, regardless of class. If you’re driving a Ford, particularly a Mustang, you’re competing directly against every other Ford in the paddock.
Fast Fords awards will be:
- Presented on-site during the official GTA awards ceremony
- Published in official event results online
- Highlighted through Global Time Attack and MMR social media coverage
This creates a parallel competition within the main GTA structure one that rewards outright performance and puts Ford drivers directly in the spotlight.
Why Fast Fords Makes Sense
MMR has long been synonymous with elite late-model Ford performance, particularly in the Ford OHC and DOHC engine space. With world records across nearly every Ford DOHC platform including a Ford Coyote program exceeding 4,000 horsepower at 10,000 RPM MMR’s engineering pedigree is unquestioned.
As Mustangs continue to gain traction in time attack competition, Fast Fords gives those drivers:
- A clear benchmark to chase
- Additional podium opportunities
- Brand-backed recognition tied directly to performance
For fans and spectators, it adds another storyline to follow throughout the weekend one that’s easy to understand and exciting to watch develop session by session.
MMR’s Commitment to Time Attack
MMR’s involvement in GTA goes beyond branding. The company has recently expanded its lineup of road race engines and suspension components, specifically developed for time attack and circuit use.
“These products are doing exactly what we designed them to do,” said MMR founder Mark Luton. “Seeing them perform at a high level in time attack competition has been incredibly rewarding.”
MMR will attend select GTA events throughout the 2026 season with:
- On-site technical support
- Common spares
- Suspension components available for purchase
- Build advice for Mustang owners and GTA competitors

Looking Ahead
Fast Fords presented by MMR is designed to grow. What begins as an event-by-event award program lays the foundation for deeper Ford-focused competition, expanded online leaderboards, and future activation opportunities.
MMR is also preparing a new Unlimited class Time Attack Mustang, currently nearing completion — a project that signals just how serious the company is about this next chapter.
